'Black Dog Bob' have been a driving force in Blues & Rock on the Sunshine Coast, and Queensland for the last 5 years. Playing a massive 473 live shows in 252 weeks (as well as holding down regular 5 day a week jobs), including opening the Gympie Musters in 2005 and again in 2007. We have played charity fund raisers, corporate functions, weddings, partys, pubs, clubs & biker bars and main stage headline shows.

With tracks & credits on the National Gympie Muster Blues albums in 2005, and 2007, and with album sales in Europe and the U.S.A, 'Black Dog Bob Studios' and '27 - South' Photography are a force to be recond with in the fields of Photography, live entertainment, Recording & Production.

After 6 years of intense playing, giging, live shows, session shows, as well as travelling all over the east coast of Australia, I deceided it was time for a change and a much needed rest. Time to get back to basics, catch up with old friends, and have a normal life for awhile.

We still offer all types of session backing tracks, and are able to fill in with any live work that comes along, I prefer thses days to just play great music up the back and leave the spot light for others.
